A comparative study proves that skin cleansing with the help of abrasive components is a general irritation factor. It is imposingly shown that - in contrast to cleansing with abrasive components such as walnut shell powder - skin cleansing with the help of innovative wax pearls made of hydrogenated castor oil is able to reduce the extent of skin irritation and the indication of a barrier disorder.
